The team behind Looe Sea Safari invite all nature lovers to experience the wonder of the Cornish coastline. Our highly experienced skippers operate safe, fun wildlife tours for people of all ages. Our team have been working in the area for years and are passionate and enthusiastic about showing visitors the beauty of the south east Cornish coast. We have a pair of fast & agile, fully equipped, Humber 10m RIBs, both able to carry up to 12 passengers. Our skippers are all fully qualified with power boats and trained in health and safety. About Our Team
Dan – Skipper and Owner
Dan is a fully qualified local skipper who has grown up in Looe and has spent most of his time either in or on the sea. He has over 20 years of experience ranging from skippering commercial fishing boats to angling trip boats. Dan enjoys kitesurfing and paddleboarding in his spare time. Dan is keen to share his passion and show visitors how special the coastline around Looe is
Clive - Skipper
Clive is a very experienced local skipper with a background in commercial fishing. He is also an RNLI helmsman on the Looe lifeboat, so you know you are in safe hands!
Rob - Skipper
RYA Yachtmaster with over 40 years small craft sea going experience and 20 years as a commercial skipper. Previously involved with maritime operations for both the Royal Navy and the Police Service. I’ve now semi retired to Cornwall. I really enjoy working on the sea and find it a huge privilege and pleasure to share the sea going experience with others.
Jon - Skipper
Jon is RYA commercially qualified boats man and has over 30 years experience operating out of Looe Harbour.
Recently left the Royal Navy after a 22 year
career, Jon is now keen to promote the beauty and history of the Cornish
coastline.
Jonty - Skipper
At 18 and his third season with us , Jonty is one of our youngest skippers with a strong passion for the water and the local coast. He’s grown up on the water and enjoys sailing, paddle boarding and everything sea based. He’s a fully qualified RYA Skipper and is crew on the Looe RNLI Lifeboat.
Will - Skipper
Will has been on boats in looe since before he could walk.
Having worked with his dad fishing for 10 years he recently purchased his own boat and is now a commercial fisherman whenever he’s not working for us! He also volunteers for Looe lifeboat.
Mike - Skipper
Mike who is also a qualified RYA skipper with 40 years small craft sea going experience. Coming from a background of HM Coastguard, working for the MOD & Sport Diving. He loves being in the outdoor marine environment and is also a keen kite surfer.
